Fair trade at Lycée Aline Mayrisch

The Lycée Aline Mayrisch has set itself the task of educating young people to become active as well as responsible citizens living the idea of solidarity together as a community.

These goals are achieved, among other things, through our commitment to fair trade and its related label.

Strict social, ecological and economic criteria must be met in the manufacture of Fairtrade goods. Anyone wishing to obtain the label must comply with international rules on human rights, fair working conditions and environmental protection. The Lycée Aline Mayrisch endorses these goals and Fairtrade goods have been integrated into everyday school life since 2013.

Several project groups aim to  integrate more and more Fairtrade goods into various areas of our school and thus gradually increase the awareness of the entire school community to the concept of fair trade.
